Signed by the author on the half title. Endpapers from a textile design features in the 1932 edition of Art, Goût et Beauté. Covers and illustrates many rare Art Deco images not recorded in the more comercial books on the subject. Includes 'Le Bonheur du Jour ou les graces a la mode' by George Barbier; 'Sports et Divertissements' by Charles Martin, and many of the better Gazette du Bon Ton images.
Julian Robinson is author of 'The Golden Age of Style.' Most of the illustrations are from the author's own collection.
